Modernized story

To modernize it I say the accident is a car accident and the wife gets a text to come to the hospital
Setting-house (she gets a text that her husband was in a car accident she was told to go the hospital) hospital(She gets to the hospital and the doctor gives her the news that her husband died but she didn’t know that wasnt her husband)  ,house

Climax-she gets the news that her husband died at the hospital from the doctor but its not her husband
Genre-drama
resolution-realizes her husband isnt dead and shes not happy and tries to kill him
Pivotal moments-when she finds the news that her husband died, she realized it wasnt her husband when he came home

plot-This starts out with the wife at her house alone and her husband was out. She later gets a text saying her husband died in a car accident. She rushed to the hospital and got the news from the doctor who said he died. At first she was sad but then felt happy and free because her and her husband had a lot of problems they were getting over. She went back home after and as soon as she walked in she saw her husband and was in shocked but also not happy because she thought he died in the car accident.

Daylin Ms.Guarino IB Lit 3/4/20 The play Mamma Mia was performed on 2/29/20 in the black box theatre, directed by Ms.Guarino and the main characters Donna and Sophie were performed by Elena Parkerson and Audra Foti. This play was about a young girl the age of 20 named Sophie who was getting married to a guy named Sky. The day before her wedding she thinks to herself and wondered why she could’nt have her dad come she has never met her dad. She finds who the possibilities were for her dad and invited them all to her wedding. She eventually told her mom about it which caused problems because her mom never told her anything about it. It is about a family that's young who lives in Chicago and are struggling to afford things. They received money for insurance and they all have different ideas of what to spend it on. The mom wants to buy a house the son wants to invest in a liquor store.   He believes that the investment will solve the family’s financial problems forever. Walter’s wife, Ruth, agrees with Mama, however, and hopes that she and Walter can provide more space and opportunity for their son, Travis. Finally, Beneatha, Walter’s sister and Mama’s daughter, wants to use the money for her medical school tuition. She also wishes that her family members were not so interested in joining the white world. Beneatha instead tries to find her identity by looking back to the past and to Africa.

 The hardest part was memorizing but when I started it got easier and I started to remember my lines. The easiest part was after me saying the first line because it all came to me. How at the end we used 3 different languages that was interesting.
