Curious Incident of the dog Play
Curious Incident of the dog at nighttime is a play about a kid Christopher who was playing and found his neighbor Ms.Shears dog dead with a fork in it in front of him. Christopher was blamed for it but didn't kill the dog so he wanted to find out who killed the dog. He found out his dad ed killed the dog and he also found out that his dad was lying about many things. It didn't take long though for Chris to forgive him after his dad got him a dog so he would forgive him which he did. The biggest parts in the play involve Chris and his dad which is were most of the conflict is and the most important problems happen. The play was really good in many aspects as in the actors the staging and engaging the audience.

One aspect of the play that was good was the staging. The backgrounds and the sound effects were really good and also important for showing whats going on and the setting during different times of the play. The scene at the train station showed the good sound effects and lighting with different colors was a very good choice it made it more entertaining. They also did a good job with highlighting the main characters especially since the main characters were the only ones with conflict. Chris was easy to show as the main character because he was shown in almost every scene. Also Ed and Chris were played by really good actors and made it obvious why there the main characters.

One actor who stood out to me the most was the actor playing Ed, Christopher's father. He was very into it and passionate about his lines which made him seem like he was actually apart of this situation and he really fit the character Ed well. I think he was very successful in being that character because he was very passionate reading the lines, for example when he was arguing with Chris's mom he did good being angry in the situation and actually arguing and yelling his lines to show us how mad he is and to make it realistic.

This was a really good play and every actor played there part well. I enjoyed watching this play it was very entertaining. The whole audience seemed to enjoy the play as well, it was a great play and one of the first ones I’ve ever been too. Something I learned about plays are how movies and plays are very similar just ones in person and both are very entertaining.

To conclude this was a great play to perform. It was a very good story and it was played well by the actors. Each character was played well and fit the description of the character they played. The effects and sounds were great and everyone seemed to enjoy this play.

It is about a family that's young who lives in Chicago and are struggling to afford things. They received money for insurance and they all have different ideas of what to spend it on. The mom wants to buy a house the son wants to invest in a liquor store.   He believes that the investment will solve the family’s financial problems forever. Walter’s wife, Ruth, agrees with Mama, however, and hopes that she and Walter can provide more space and opportunity for their son, Travis. Finally, Beneatha, Walter’s sister and Mama’s daughter, wants to use the money for her medical school tuition. She also wishes that her family members were not so interested in joining the white world. Beneatha instead tries to find her identity by looking back to the past and to Africa.

 The hardest part was memorizing but when I started it got easier and I started to remember my lines. The easiest part was after me saying the first line because it all came to me. How at the end we used 3 different languages that was interesting.
