XXX the Legend in the Making
Legends by Juice Wrld is a song about one rapper XXXtentacion who was shot on his way to a charity event in his hometown. X was looked at as a legend in the making and was believed to be one of the greatest rappers of all time. I believe that if X didn't pass away he would've been one of the greatest rappers of all time. XXX is a legend and in this song is portrayed as a legend which many people disagree with but for what he did for the hip-hop industry and for people he is considered a legend by many people. 3 quotes in this song are very good examples of why X was considered a legend and why he belongs with the legends.
In the song Juice Wrld has many lyrics about X being a legend. One lyric is "All legends fall in the making." This is one of the most common lines said in the song and is one line that Juice Wrld wants to put emphasis on. This lyric is saying how X died as soon as people realized how great he was and how musically talented he was. This quote was a good example on how XXX was a legend in the making and how his career ending so early changed the minds of people and realized how important he was to so many people.
Another lyric is "My mind is foggy, I'm so confused We keep on losing our legends to." This line stands out too because people wouldn't have cared about his passing without him being who he is which is why he is looked at as a legend because he is known for his musical talents and his passion for helping people in need after what he went through. This quote shows the impact of XXX’s career and the impact he had on people.
One final lyric is "They tell me I'ma be a legend I don't want that title now 'Cause all the legends seem to die out." This line is important because Juice Wrld is now looked at as a legend in the making just like XXX and he doesn't want the same thing that happened to X happen to him just because people look at him as a legend which shows how much people hated on him being called a legend. Many legends in the making have died also so he doesn’t want to be called a legend and have a lot of hate and go through what other potential legends went through like XXX.
To conclude XXX would’ve been one of the greatest rappers and a legend if his life wasn’t taken so early. Many people agree with this statement and a lot disagree. This song is a great way of proving he is with certain lyrics for example “All legends fall in the making.” These quotes from the song are great for reasons to why X was a legend in the making and why he would’ve been one of the greatest rappers of all time.

It is about a family that's young who lives in Chicago and are struggling to afford things. They received money for insurance and they all have different ideas of what to spend it on. The mom wants to buy a house the son wants to invest in a liquor store.   He believes that the investment will solve the family’s financial problems forever. Walter’s wife, Ruth, agrees with Mama, however, and hopes that she and Walter can provide more space and opportunity for their son, Travis. Finally, Beneatha, Walter’s sister and Mama’s daughter, wants to use the money for her medical school tuition. She also wishes that her family members were not so interested in joining the white world. Beneatha instead tries to find her identity by looking back to the past and to Africa.
