This object connects to me because I like shoes and I enjoy buying and getting new pairs when I can. I also own a pair of shoes like these and this type of shoe is my favorite shoe. I chose it because this is one of the newer models of this shoe and they light when when taking a picture with flash and so do the laces. I chose this also because when I first saw this shoe it reminded me of another shoe I have that also reflects and it is on my favorite shoe model.






Monologue: Being a yeezy i like to brag a lot since im one of the most popular shoes in the world. Other shoes look at me as a god especially since im new and exspensive. Most shoes get jealous of me since im so cool but I like it. One bad thing though is I am worn everyday by my owner and I get tired. He has a lot of other shoes but chooses me since im his favorite. He also cleans me every week since I get dirty a lot. I do live a good life as a shoe as im very popular and highly liked by other shoes.

It is about a family that's young who lives in Chicago and are struggling to afford things. They received money for insurance and they all have different ideas of what to spend it on. The mom wants to buy a house the son wants to invest in a liquor store.   He believes that the investment will solve the family’s financial problems forever. Walter’s wife, Ruth, agrees with Mama, however, and hopes that she and Walter can provide more space and opportunity for their son, Travis. Finally, Beneatha, Walter’s sister and Mama’s daughter, wants to use the money for her medical school tuition. She also wishes that her family members were not so interested in joining the white world. Beneatha instead tries to find her identity by looking back to the past and to Africa.

 The hardest part was memorizing but when I started it got easier and I started to remember my lines. The easiest part was after me saying the first line because it all came to me. How at the end we used 3 different languages that was interesting.
